Regarding the smart crowd, for a crowd of content creators, do you have a way in the smart contract to split payments or rewards between various creators or addresses? For example, if there is a small project with 3 people working together, one with a major role, and 2 people with supporting roles, can a Pledgecamp project contract split 50/25/25?@iamedmond

 

Your website states: “The Pledgecamp Ecosystem provides project creators the broad resources they need to succeed”. That’s a pretty ambiguous statement, what are those resources and how do they empower better and more successful projects?@iamedmond

Backer Insurance is a portion of funds that are held in escrow and gives investors the power to hold creators accountable. It is unique to Pledgecamp. Blockchain and crowdfunding go well together; they are both decentralized and transparent, which creates trust.

We plan on helping host ICO/STO types of projects in the future; it is not in the near-term development for this year.

It allows the world to participate because blockchain is global; Kickstarter is big but only allows 11% of the world's countries. A bigger community is better for projects looking to raise funds and find support. Investors benefit because a big community, just like in blockchain, brings security and more people watching out for fraud and cooperating.
