Do you think the form of fundraising through Pledgecamp has really improved compared to the current form (bank, ...)? Could it be a barrier for those who want to raise money but don't know the blockchain? When they overcome that barrier, what do they get more than when they raise money in a normal way? @iamedmond

 

I’ve seen it stated that a lack of transparency is a significant issue in crowdfunding projects. One response to that is because a creator’s campaign will be attached to a smart contract on the blockchain it allows anyone to see the transactions/communications between participants. What prevents bad actors, or dubious projects, or failing projects from simply conducting some aspects of their project ‘off chain’ and out of sight from backers?@iamedmond
